These are just a few ideas from previous programs. Teach something that interests you—find your passion!!! Then, share it with middle school students at STING. Teach what you love because enthusiasm is contagious. Now it’s your chance to light a spark in the next generation.

Class are 40 minutes each. You are encouraged to teach multiple periods. Your class can be a hands-on, interactive class with only 10 students, or a lecture with 30.

Below is a recent course catalog for a similar program at MIT, as well as last year's STING catalog. Use them to help create ideas:

There will be two after school Teacher Training days to help with your curriculum and materials as well as support from the teaching staff at Granite Hills. You should work with a mentor teacher to develop your final lesson plans in order to ensure a high quality experience for our middle school guests!
