What kinds of classes are taught

Anything and everything (as long as it’s safe and legal, of course). If you want to take a class, the best way to learn about what’s offered is to click on the “Learn” button at the top of the page.

How much does STING cost?

There is a small registration fee of $10 per student to cover costs. This fee is due in cash at check-in on the day of the event, or you may pre-pay online. Students can apply for a fee waiver when registering. Please be sure to include household income and describe your financial situation.

When is STING?

STING is being held on February 29th, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. to check in.

Where is STING?

Granite Hills High School
1719 E. Madison Avenue
El Cajon, CA 92019

Who teaches STING?

S.T.I.N.G. teachers are Granite Hills High School senior and junior students. These students are able to share their passions through their class designs and work hard to provide you with the best experience possible.

What is the age and grade range?

STING has been designed for students in 6th through 8th grades and corresponding ages and ability. Class descriptions will try to indicate the grade appropriateness of the content. We ask that you honor this designation in your class choices.

Will attending STING help me get into the school/class/team/club I want?

No. However, taking part in activities that showcase your interests and abilities is never a waste of time and will help you with all your future goals.

Is there academic credit for STING classes?

No, but your brain will be bigger.
